Slip® is currently seeking a full-time Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves direct collaboration with our co-founders and legal team. Key responsibilities include:
Intellectual property & brand protection - You will assist in actively managing all aspects of slip’s brand protection strategy, including a global portfolio of trademarks and other intellectual property rights to safeguard our brand.
Commercial contracts - You will be tasked with drafting and reviewing various contracts, including retail, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, confidentiality, endorsement and collaboration agreements.
Regulatory compliance - You will provide expert advice on the compliance of our products and packaging with applicable laws and regulations in both established and new markets.
Advertising and consumer law – You will advise on compliance with consumer and advertising law, including reviewing marketing collateral.
Process and workflow management - You will help enhance our processes and precedents, manage workflows, deliverables, and coordinate with external counsel. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining legal registers, as well as developing and implementing legal operational processes and work procedures to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency of the Legal function.
Projects – You will proactively support the other members of the Legal team and business units with various tasks and projects that arise from time to time.

Slip® is seeking a highly motivated, organised and detail-oriented In-House Paralegal to join our Legal team. In collaboration with the Slip legal team, your key responsibilities (under supervision) will include:
Brand Protection
- Monitor and investigate online marketplaces, social media platforms, and third-party websites for products, intellectual property infringements and unauthorized sellers of Slip’s products.
- Maintain and update brand protection action lists, track enforcement efforts, and provide regular progress reports.
- Assist in managing Slip’s intellectual property portfolio, including ensuring all deadlines are actioned within a timely manner.
Legal process and workflow management
- Maintain legal registers, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Track deadlines and notify relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Assist in organising and storing legal documents and precedents.
- Monitoring external legal spend against budgets.
- Perform administrative tasks across legal and business units as required.
Document review and research
- Drafting/preparing routine legal correspondence and documentation.
- Conducting or assisting with research tasks as directed.
- Attending legal meetings and actioning items determined during those meetings.
- Supporting the other members of the legal team with tasks as required.
Projects and process improvement initiatives
- Developing and implementing operational processes and work procedures to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency of the Legal function.
- Assist internal stakeholders with projects and other process improvement initiatives from time to time.
